GE15 + Cambridge Exam Preparation
Our General English and Cambridge exam preparation course is a combination course which runs all year around. In the morning classes you practise grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, speaking, pronunciation and writing in a communicative environment using a set course book. Your progress in these classes is measured through weekly, mid-course and end of course tests. In the afternoon sessions we can help you prepare for the following popular Cambridge exams:
- B2 First (FCE)
- C1 Advanced (CAE)
The University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations are internationally recognised Certificates. They are a reliable measure of your English language ability. ‘ESOL’ is short for ‘English for Speakers of Other Languages’. These qualifications can be useful if you plan to study or work in an English speaking environment or just want to improve your skill set.
If you are taking an A2 Key, B1 Preliminary or the C2 Proficiency exam, you should take private lessons.
Maximum class size is 15.
We recommend that students are at an upper intermediate level of English or above. Our experienced teachers will help you develop the language and exam skills required to do well in your exam. If you are unsure which exam is right for you, please contact us and we will be able to advise you.
Some of the key areas covered in our courses are:
- Speaking, pronunciation and fluency
- Grammar and how to use it
- Writing skills for various situations
- Knowledge of vocabulary
- Listening and reading skills
- An understanding of your Cambridge exam and the techniques required to do well
- Practice tests and mock exams
Please Note: We are NOT an exam centre for Cambridge exams, but can help students to apply for exams; however we cannot guarantee a place.
