Who better to ask for advice than our current students? Here are some of the things they said!
“You need to listen to English music, watch TV and read newspapers. I think it is good for you.”
“Practise your lessons and do homework after the class every day.”
“You should always speak to your teacher if you don’t understand something.”
“Resist the temptation to speak your mother tongue with friends from your country.”
“Allow plenty of time to join a lot of activities which are offered by our staff. They will help you get a lot of friends and experiences during your studies here.”
“You should go to the parks because they are very big and beautiful.”
“It is important to buy a an ‘A-Z’ map to move around London.”
“Shop in big supermarkets, for example Sainsbury’s and Tesco, because they are cheaper than small supermarkets.”
“If you want to save some money, you must buy food in the street market late on Saturdays.”
