“Kensington Academy of English itself, I was just knocked out by the high quality of teaching and really friendly, rewarding, warm atmosphere.  Social programme and extra activities imposed a deep impression on me as well.  Day trips to Cambridge and Oxford enriched my knowledge about the UK and its deep cultural roots.  Social activities enabled me to make lots of friends, establish some contacts and, which is most important, helped me feel relaxed during the classes.

I feel I must mention my teachers who supported me through my whole stay.  I cannot tell how much I appreciate everything they have done for me.  Mali, my teacher of the morning classes, was always sensitive and sympathetic, kind and serious.  She made us understand that self-discipline and attention are principal for achieving success.  Such teaching qualities can cause nothing else but dedication and desire, which fortunately happened to me.  Diana and Charlotte are the teachers I was having my afternoon classes with.  They were so energetic, encouraging, active and knowledgeable that I was always surprised how fast the studying hours flew.  I was lucky to have a couple of lessons with Robbie.  He made me work a lot faster and more resultative than previously.  Add some encouragement and fun – and you will probably get a picture of our lesson.

As for the staff, from the very beginning they made me feel relaxed and comfortable as if I were at home.  This means a lot when it is your first time abroad!

I will never forget the first meeting with David Game as well.  He is a real sample to follow.  Many thanks to David Leverick, Funda, Sarah and Laura for their friendliness and support.

Finally, I should say that reminiscence about this fortnight in KAE will stay with me forever and a day!”

Not only is he a good academic student, he also uses tour social programme and encourages other students to participate in ‘college life’. He is very supportive of both his teachers and fellow students. He deserves every success that comes his way.”

The course is an intensive programme, with significant amounts of homework every evening and at the weekend. It focuses exclusively on exam preparation, so it is not suitable for you if you want to improve the overall level of your English.
